Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do I need a website?
Whether you are business or an individual trying to get an important message out, it is near impossible to do so without an effective website in place. A website provides the essential mechanism for your customers to learn about your products and services - 365 days a year.
  • Will I be charged for my initial consultation?
Absolutely not! I am always ready to answer your questions and help you feel as comfortable and confident as possible, before you make any decisions.
  • Why are your prices so cheap compared to large studio work?
I work with a small team with an established home studio so my overheads are minimal. I invested a large level of capital into my studio and as such our running costs going forward are quite low. As a result, we can pass on this saving to our clients and price very competitively.
  • My existing website is not performing. What's wrong?
Many things could be to blame - Search engine compatibility, colour scheme, ease of use, navigation, etc. I can evaluate your website and recommend changes.
  • What's involved in setting up or building a new website?
If you already have company documentation, a lot of the work is already done. The best first step is to have a sit down meeting or scheduled phone call where I can evaluate what would best suit you.
  • Can you update the site for me going forward?
Yes. 90% of my client base requires that I update their websites for them. This way the look and feel of the website is unaffected over time. It's important to note that even once a site is launched, visitors are often turned off by out-of-date websites. Most clients feel that a fresh website sends a better message.
  • Can I update the website myself?
In my experience, the overall design and look of the initial build can be adversely effected when a website is not updated by the original designer. 90% of my clients opt for a small annual fee where we provide update cover. The price of this update package depends on the amount of updates required.
  • How long for does it take for a website alteration to be done?
Generally, within a few hours - but in most cases almost immediately. I check in with any email requests on the hour - even outside 9 to 5 working hours and on weekends. I inform our clients as soon as the work is done.
